The title of our assigned project is "Video Killed the Radio Star." Hence, leading us to choose this title for our video. HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU COULD TRUST SOMEONE?

How did I know whether to trust my broken alarm clock this morning?

How did I know whether the guard at the parking lot was telling the truth about the car pool parking area?

How did I know whether was I really being missed or it was a "Just saying" moment?

How did I know whether shifting seats to sit next to a person I met last December was the right choice; that they would be of help or useless?

How did I know whether to trust friends when they said they'll do something?

How did I know whether was it helping to do a favour or taking advantage of the bond?

How did I know whether that good hug was sincere?

How did I know whether answers constructed together were right or wrong to the questions?

How did I know whether to trust blood which betrayed?

Who I am to know.. Why a couple of incidents have ended on the 17th for me?

Well, uh, to the first question, the person will have to gain/earn my trust; definitely. But how do I know whether to continue on trusting them? I'd say screw it if anything happens. Let it happen. Shit happens. Let it get messed up. Let it be the worst of everything. Let the sole purpose of trust be betrayed in the end. Then start over and adapt.

WAITING IN TRAFFIC ON THE ROAD HOME

Woke up this morning with a rather upsetting sore throat which forced me out of bed at 10 plus, waking up earlier than the time I intended to. Finally got my car washed today.. I just ate some flu meds to ease the cold that's about to catch on. Early night again; last week of work with the consecutive week leading to the start of a new semester.

Had a quick get-together at Ming Tien on Friday for dinner with high schoolmates, met my cousin and some of my brother's friends. I had dried pan mee (haven't had pan mee in forever) and we talked over dinner with one ice-breaking question: "Who dumped who?". It went uphill from then on, with loads of laughter and "secrets" unravelling. Called it a night by saying we were getting old and imagining how it's gonna be like if we were sitting right on the very same spot in 10 years' time.

3 groups of people left for the airport last 29th. Colleagues, a loved one and a good friend. The following day, I, left..

..too.

On the night of the 29th, some ex-schoolmates and I were to send off Mr Hospitality for his internship in France for 3 months. It was made a surprise. Initially, we were to leave home at 8.15pm but ended up leaving at 9.30pm. I sped the car, regardless of getting speed trapped or any other hindrances such as slow cars - I drove on the fast lane and we reached in 30 minutes. Could say it was the first actual actual time speeding THAT fast considering the fact I've been trying to play speed demon on the roads especially at the Penchala Link tunnel. Teehee.

We got there in a steady and loaded car and safely with trust in VW (as Twinnie calls it, Yell-owh Poh-loh!) and, akhem, the driver of course. We ran to the departure in time and left after half an hour. The drive home led us elsewhere, missing a turn and found ourselves at Sungai Buloh's far end. I did some packing earlier in the afternoon after taking half day off at work, unable to catch any sleep. But yes, it was the best trip I've ever gone for aside from Sydney and Seoul.

Through the past one month, I found myself more alive than ever. I made a new word when I was half asleep: Sleep dreams = sleep well + sweet dreams. I laughed to myself in the car more - Heard on FLYFM: "I don't eat nut chocolates. My father told me that I don't like nut chocolates. Because he said I'm a big NUT at home!".

Learnt new jokes. And some new ones: Apakah ikan yang paling rock? Apakah ikan yang paling besar di Malaysia? Apakah haiwan yang paling kedekut?

Told some old ones: What do you call a fish with no power? If this ---> is Superman, what's this <---?

When we were little.. War was only a card game, the only drug we knew was cough medicine, wearing a skirt didn't make you a slut, the only things that hurt were skinned knees, and goodbyes only meant til tomorrow.. And to think we couldn't wait to grow up..

Life takes us by surprise and orders us to move toward the unknown - even when we don't want to and when we think we don't need to.

When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not ready.

We can only wish that we can turn back time, but why not hope for a better tomorrow?

I've a drafted post since the 20th. Yet to edit and publish it. But for now, I'm feeling a little faint. Work has been alright. Taking half day off today to prepare for tomorrow's trip. EXCITINGGGGSSS. Have so much to pack and get done.

What a difference a year has made. Giza's Wong Kok in 2010. And Bukit Damansara's Decanter just last Friday. Working with the Generation X people has definitely made me look at the bigger picture.

So it seems it's the end of my "3-4 outings a week" routine. Splurged quite a sum, and I'm not the slightest bit proud. The week where I watched Insidious, I picked up 2 friends on a Thursday on the very same week, one from BU1, the other from BU2, had dinner at Pasta Zanmai and watched Kung Fu Panda 2. That Friday was the last movie I've watched, X-Men: First Class. Needed to use minimal amount of expenses only as tickets were won.

Torn between one. The pinks and whites. Ikea. Of BBs and black and yellows. Getting a surprise visit. Sitting behind the bicycle, not-holding-on-too-tightly to dear life. Parks. Basketball. Vitagen lorry with the plate number BKT 143 "Bak Kut Teh I Love You". Talks with 2 lecturers for 3 hours. Emotions + LDP + 125km/h + silence.

You see, you keep reflecting everything you encounter everyday to something that happened in the past and do you know BECAUSE OF THIS, every other good thing in your life that walks on by, you overlook it.
Don't come and go in my life when it's convenient for you, because when you're ready again, I might be gone for good.
I'm not going to talk to you for awhile. I need you to miss me. I need you to appreciate having me in your life.

We may not be as close to a person as before. That is the very reason why we hold onto memories; the only element of them still intact with us.

My mind stirred with memories as I read an old friend's blog. Remembering good times. My sister told me once over the phone when she was still studying in Aussie, "Why remember someone for the bad things? Remember them for the good." While I was reading, I was not mixed with fondness but with happy emotions as I felt as though some parts were played as old conversations.

You lose out some friends. That is a declaration that you are to move on without them. You don't lose, instead, you gain. You gain a new set of confidence, strength to move on and a better goal to pursue things you've longed to do. They may be in your past, and not your present life, but we can't predict what the future brings at times. Maybe they'll be back, but heck knows as who. Bottom line, be grateful that they were once part of your life. They played a role in moulding you into the person you are today.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm pretty sure every human being feels the need to be appreciated. I've gotten so used to being treated otherwise by some. Maybe because I have a soft spot for them. But mainly because I don't wanna go all out to have an argument. Yet, the scenario persists every now and then. It won't work if only one party puts the effort in staying in your life while the other one doesn't do the same. Like I've once said to a friend before, "Only talk to me, if you have the time for me." No pressure, no sweat.

A friend was at a competition and I gave some words of encouragement, from some quotes I've read anyway, for the first part =p

"You can only let it define you, destroy you or make you stronger. Take this competition as an experience for the future. Everyone goes through defeat."

If we never gotten a taste of failure, if we never get a glimpse of what disappointment was, we will never learn. It's a cycle everyone has to go through. If we never got hurt, we would never know what sadness is.

I was driving the Vitara while it snowed and then on ice with my mum in the car with me. My 3 other siblings were in the Estima with dad. We were on a tour with other people, driving cars and I was the last in line. We entered this forest where people would rob our jewelry if we wanted to get pass (like a toll) but they wouldn't take our money. At the end of it, we weren't checked for anything and everything was still with us.

Just another dream.

Months ago, talking about who should, could and would have been couples in Semester 1. Memories.

Walking over to McD's for a McFlurry. Talking about Singapore. Reached home with a car filled with bird crap all because I was not thinking when I parked under the tree. Nonetheless, it was a really good day with old and new friends.

Bought a present from The Curve last Friday after lunch, driving the Civic. Body Shop. Fit & Match. Secret Recipe. Earl Grey Tea. 3rd time's indeed a charm. That girl's funny expression when I gave a hug. Hahaha.

With 3 other passengers in the car last Saturday. En route to Dynasty Hotel. Steep levels. Sexy backs. Smelling like a combination of a certain kind of gas and liquid. 1 hour 26 minutes and 50 seconds.

Watched Insidious on Monday after having Subway for lunch. There were so many high school kids, mainly girls in the same hall. A few ran out of the hall about 20 minutes into the movie shouting "Takut! Takut!". People laughed, myself included. Hid under my red-checkered Gap shirt most of the time. The "after ..." shirt. Kaya + butter baguette from Delifrance. Rainforest.

..but changed my mind after an hour. Was on the laptop for an hour before I got ready and had Maggi at home. Accompanied the 2nd bro to the post office to watch after the car and he dropped me at Cineleisure right after. Bought tickets to Hall 8, row C. It was a little cold but my hands broke into a cold sweat while keeping them warm. The mermaids in this film were so beautiful yet deadly.

Met Miss Kangaroo on the way to the parking lot and IN the parking lot. =) Read something hahahaha on her BB which she was about to text to me. Had dinner at SS2's Wai Sek Kai and here I am, home.. I think I'm gonna hit the sack early. Would've gone to the park if I wasn't this tired.

Back in Semester 1, one of my lecturers who taught me Management gave us the real insight of the world. I was told that money is not everything. But everything is money.

Talking about the rest of our lives. Speaking of the distance - the many hours away from one another. Expressing bottled up feelings in parks late at night. Sweet-smelling perfumes. An array of hugs. Bundling tears of joy. Heaps of genuine smiles. Explosive amount of laughters. Watching movies. Of multiple "Hi" text greetings over the past year. Hilariously flattering compliments.

Went to The Curve on Thursday to catch Something Borrowed where we bought tickets for 7. Had lunch at Little Penang Kafe and met up with an old friend in Starbucks for a bit. Headed back to join college peeps for a few rounds of bowling before the movie at 4pm, continued one last game of bowling before heading home.

Had a rather tiring day on Friday where we were to meet at 12.30 and ended up waiting at Starbucks and having lunch at 2pm in NYNYD when Thor starts in half an hour. Didn't miss anything. Made X sit on my right. Hahaha, pffft. Decided to buy tickets for Fast 5 for the 6pm slot after our movie, swap turns to queue, with one less ticket bought. The remaining 5 of us went around shops and had a quick dinner at KFC before brisk walking all the way back up to Hall 7. Such coincidence, my folks were there as well, sitting a row in front. Hehhhh.

Unwillingly woke up and went for Pasta Zanmai on Saturday with 2 friends from BU1, had a good talk.

Totally surprised Miss Cookfish on Sunday night. :) Bought a slice of cheesecake and brownie from Secret Recipe. Had some problems going on with a friend's car having zilch amount of petrol before 7pm came though; but it all worked out in the end. An impromptu trip to Cotton On for an XS sized floral dress for the birthday girl-to-be. And then comes the walk in parks..

I feel as though that the park has this attraction. It's probably the place where I feel most relaxed, second in line, after my own home. Here, at the park, I've parked my car to wonder about a few deep thoughts, hung out by the gazebo on that drizzling day with my eyes shut while resting on a shoulder, conversations with friends.. It's been 2 years and almost 5 months I've been staying here.

Friends to strangers

As the post's title suggests, friends turn into strangers. When I wrote that as a status on Twitter, a few lot of people came to mind.

I've that one friend whom I used to play Yahoo pool with. I've that one friend I bumped into at the mall after 3 years who came up to talk to me. I've that one friend I used to cry to on the phone. I've that one friend whose actions were not sincere which sent the wrong message across. I've that one friend who gives me courage when I feel worthless and tells me everything. I've that one friend who is so close yet so far. I've that one friend who has put a funny note at my car. I've that one friend who stays up with me to do work. I've that one friend I can go a long time not meeting, but if we do, we can talk for hours. I've that one friend who is very giving, but I've not been treating them right. I've that one friend I've never met more than 3 times but shares the same interests in music. I've that one friend who waits for my delayed email replies. I've that one friend who makes me smile by smiling.

I've that one friend who may seem quiet but when things are being talked out, they voice out and everything was understood. I've that one friend I've not regretted meeting. I've that one friend I've grown so much with, in the span of a year. I've that one friend who is grateful for me. I've that one friend who was afraid of driving, but my wish for her on her birthday was to drive which she does now. I've that one friend to turn to for advices about anything at all. I've that one friend who guides me to/in places I've never been to. I've that one friend who isn't really close, but has a bond because of having something in common.

I've that one friend who is confused and in dire need of a true friend. I've that one friend who keeps grudges after everything. I've that one friend who told people things about me/said I've uttered certain things which were otherwise. I've that one friend who is annoyingly secretive and easily green-eyed. I've that one friend who is hurtingly empty inside.

I'm dejectedly bleak to say that some of them are unimaginably the worst deceivers, only denouncing disapprovals as they please. Up till today, I can't fathom the reasons behind being secretive among friends. Perhaps to defend themselves? To the extent of making up "clever comebacks" so that lies and excuses are kept undisclosed. What a shame, really; it's the ones that I've known for years. I'm sick of aggravating situations, child-like thinkings, deceitful connections, apologies with depleting sincereness and people who will NEVER admit that they are wrong. That's where they are wrong. Apologizing insincerely/forgiving insincerely. Forgiving makes me the bigger person. And I AM, the bigger person.

I'm not the kind who lies my way through so as to get out of foolish tensions such as these. If my thoughts want to be heard by others, I will say it. I'm not afraid of being honest, but I don't follow why some would voice out nonsensical lies when I'm alright with telling something. I may not know of something at first, but eventually the time comes and I will know of it. I can't tell how some can be hypocritical with their own friends and act as if "virginity" has been revoked, nothing has occurred.

Now, I'm more than wary who I trust and what words I should use towards certain people.

It's hard to decipher someone unless you're them. So don't try to annotate your "understandings" on a person you haven't a clue about. A friend said, "If someone has nothing nice to say to you, they shouldn't have talked to you in the first place."

Was looking through my Semester 2 College folder and read this. This was for my final presentation for Presentation Skills. It was a really last minute thing, I was going back and forth on which topic do speak on. Slide Theme: Perspective.

Time is always in the way of everything – it never stops. We have to know that time does not wait for us and neither do opportunities. Sometimes we just have to let go of certain things in order to move forward. But to move forward, we have to first know what we want. It is all part and parcel of discovery. To quote James Joyce, “A man’s errors are his portals of discovery.” This brings us to my topic which is: CHOICES.

Day in, day out, we are faced with choices. Which restaurant we are going to dine at, are we willing to pay for the food, which clothes to wear for what occasions, which route to take to our destination. Making the right choices is important but often times we make the wrong choices. Why is that so?

It felt like the right thing to do at that moment in time

Most of us make choices emotionally rather than intellectually. Is it wrong to do so? No. We as humans are affected by our surroundings to do the things we do. When we are emotionally wronged, we let our emotions take over. We give in to the pressure and let the rest of it to get the better of us. What we can do is look past it and carry on from that mistake. Let that mistake be a reminder and lesson to us so as to better ourselves in the future. Sometimes, putting it behind will make us happier.

Mixing with the wrong crowd

Peers have an overwhelming power to influence us to do things or think in certain ways. You may never know what is bound to happen, especially in this interchangeably modern age. We can say that the world is a cruel place because friends are friends, until they betray our trust in them. But do remember, mistakes are a part of being human. There is not point in crying over spilt milk. This also tells us that we should take extra precaution when we are making friends with that person.

On the contrary, why should we make the right choices?

To prioritize

We have to know what is important so we do not dwell on unnecessary things. The right choices often come with thorough contemplations and thinking. The idea of making a choice itself is to lead us somewhere. If in the beginning, we do not know the purpose of making a choice, the outcome would not turn out to be what we expect it to be. Eventually, we will be disappointed.

To avoid negative outcomes

For example, in a political situation, the leader of a country should be able to make a decision based on facts and figures given to him. He has to think, will his actions and choices affect the citizens as well? He is to make a tough choice based on careful thinking without being biased. He has to take in opinions from the board of cabinet. His choice will affect the management of the country. If he were to make a poor choice, it will lead to a negative outcome.

Choices. We all make them. We withdraw ourselves from reality too much sometimes, and make the wrong choices. On the one hand, making a flawed choice is not always a bad thing. But more often than not, it teaches us how to cope with things and somewhere along the line, it can bring out the best in us to overcome these wrong selections. Thus, it will add on to our life experiences. Maybe taking the wrong train may lead you somewhere new, somewhere better - somewhere you never thought you would love. So, if you have made a choice that you think you might regret, think twice and look on the brighter side of it. You never know what better things are in store.

This old Converse sling bag which hasn't been used for months, it lays here. I took it in my hands and sat on my bed. The room's white lights were on. I waited for a minute to have a good look at it before opening it. I took a deep breath before opening the bag, wondering what are the contents in it. I took out 2 empty glass bottles, the ones from Esprit Sparkling Water with its labels already ripped off. Putting them aside, I came across a smaller glass bottle. Lifting it up till it was on a par with my eye level, I turned it in a few rounds, as if it were a round music box.

In it, were neatly folded coloured stars. The bottle was filled to the brim with water, with visible water bubbles already formed. Staring at the unfinished bottle of stars, my alarm clock rang. I unwillingly woke up from my dream and looked at the time. 10.50a.m. The night before, I've changed my sheets to cleaner ones, had my blanket washed and walked on my 2 feet.

My 'Small Little Car' (thrice), the people, the foot, the assignments. All in the span of a month.

But on top of all these ongoing "events", I was brought back to my dream about the folded stars. I used to fold stars for friends for their birthday. White cutout strips of papers from exam pads, empty 500ml bottles and a well-thought written card which goes along with the gift.

On my study table now, sits a 1.5 litre glass bottle, unfinished. With extras from the year 2006 whereby some are written with words/drawn on the surface by friends, some with words INSIDE the stars itself, a mixture of solid and also metallic coloured ones. To me, it represents a bottle of memories (parts of my life, anyway). But as I've mentioned, it's unfinished, since I've shifted from the old house. Will find a day to fill the bottle someday.

As of now, I'm intrigued to have tonnes of folded stars in my possession. It'll be night time, then I'll be throwing them stars up and let/see them fall to the ground.

The worst part about parting with the car in the above picture was that I didn't have more shots with/of it, I didn't have the chance to drive it for one last time and I DID teared when I watched it being driven away by its new owner.

On the roads today, I've seen lotsa VWs around. It triggered my thoughts and reminded me of the Vitara. I guess it's just some things you hold strong feelings onto. After all, it was my first car.

Old friends spending lesser time to catch up than before, old flames starting to talk again, sign misconceptions, mailbox-dropping, getting rid of people; it all happens. In the end, things go. Like how people do, too. People change and we may not like it, but they just do.

Stumbled upon my older blog posts, well, the year that I hated. And discovered some old songs. Two of it being Nolita Fairytale and Swans. Hmm. Big decisions. PR or Advertising?

Anyway, I took off the cast a lot these few days. Stepped on the ground and walked a little. Yay. :) But gonna continue wearing the cast till Saturday. It's 2.30am on a Friday. Should get ready for bed. Last Academic Writing class which is also the last class for the rest of the semester @ 10am later. Gonna miss these moments (and damn dramas too), they're passing by so fast. Just like how I was just talking to one of my friends for 12 years just a few hours ago. Was good talking to her. She has never changed her clumsy ways. Hahaha. The way she lost her phone. Hmmm.

And ohhh, I fooled someone that I club. HAHAHA. Well, it's STILL April right? :) Plus, I didn't get to prank them. Tskkkk.

I've stayed up until 4 and 5am for the past 3 days. I had 3 hours of sleep and was faced with pettily minor issues which bothered me so much because I was already so worked up. My shoulders are aching a little now from using these crutches to walk in campus the past 2 days. Both presentations for PR and Advertising were alright. Just glad that all dues are over. I'm not even gonna get emotionally sad about whatever that has happened.

...with my condition now and the shit I had to face for the past week, especially schoolwork, I'm pretty proud of myself that I have learnt how to put up with people and cope with things. With people staring at my right foot and asking me what has happened to people who held the door/elevator open. With the most irrelevant and dumbest questions people have asked to heart-to-heart talks with lecturers. With the stolen rim cap to the scratched bumper, both not by my own doing for 2 weeks in a row.

And of course, that comes with supportive friends. Generally, I'm nice. Too nice to begin with. So when it comes to a point where I'm blunt, I'm really blunt. To the extent where I'd vent out my feelings to a few when these bottled up feelings in a jar of "Angry Yih Ling" has taken its toll. And that's when friends are wow'd that I could be this angry. But behind angry words and whatnot, I'm a tough cookie for staying strong and pulling it together.

I've learnt from my lecturer's wise words today, "Don't hate. Love the people around you. People move on. But somewhere along the way, we'll meet. Make the right choice. Don't make the choices that you will regret." - Mr PYT (Yeah, sounds like Pretty Young Thing eh? Heheh)

There's a timeframe for everything. It's just the matter of when it'll happen. Probably you've heard this a lot of times before, tough times don't last, but tough people do. Things will happen, when you take the initiative to MAKE it happen. Don't ever wait for people to ask for you. Ask for them instead. Or you'll be waiting like a fool. Advertising class has this thing called, "the BIG idea". Now, whenever I think of a matter, I'd ask myself, "What IS the BIG idea? What does this tell me? What impact does this have on me? Does this concerns me?"

The soft cooling breeze in the park, turned into a light drizzle which eventually became violent raindrops. Just going out for 2 hours, sitting at the park, feeling the breeze brush against my skin. It reminded me so much of walking on the streets of Korea. No doubt, it was cold but I loved it.

Am I that predictable? Then again, maybe I'm just naive. And maybe, just maybe, the dreams I've been having play a part in this. Well, I'm telling myself, "NO". Even if I want so much to say otherwise.

I've finally replied the e-mail I was supposed to reply, a month and a half ago. Accomplishment.

I had only 3 days of classes to attend last week; starting from Wednesday-Friday. I stayed up until 3 in the morning for 2 days in a row, finishing up my assignments. I was woken up by calls by JKML at 7.30 for both days, when class starts at 8am.

I spent Valentine's with 2 people @ Village Park and had a, what seemed like an endless conversation.

Since I have no classes on Mondays and Tuesday was a public holiday, I still had 4 dues in 3 days. I promised JKML that on Friday, this (me waking up late) won't happen again. I kept to my promise! My presentation on Primary, Secondary & Tertiary Sources paid off too. I got THE car yesterday. It's yellow, and pretty sexy. Pretty and sexy. I played Guitar Hero with sleepy eyes and gave up later on at night. I went to bed early and woke up at 9.40 the next day with a text coming in right after 2 minutes of being awake.

Talked to one of my best friends for the, you could say, entire day. Skype, MSN, text. It was pleasant. And the thought of them wanting to visit me in campus on Friday during lunchtime. Maybe this week :)

Listened to Sum 41's Fat Lip on the way to SP during our 2-hour break, sang to Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue with a classmate, grouped with CJD during AW's tutorial, tried to outrun my 2nd brother on the street with my aching arm, played Little Big Planet 2.

Today? Melancholically playing Your Hand In Mine on repeat. Getting myself lost in time. And there goes another day.

Slept at 4.30 and woke up 4 hours later. X and S were supposed to come along today but they needed more sleep. Was fetched by my twin in a Camry. Went to DJ - back to KD - to The Club - and swam at 11am. Swam 2 laps or so - with our staminas so poor. Stopped to talk for about 20 minutes, swam a few more laps before going on the slide. There was this girl and her 2-3 year old sister on the slide, they couldn't slide down at first. They finally did, with the younger girl on her stomach and her legs were going down the slide first. Got the 3 of us laughing for a couple of minutes. We went on the slide as well for a few times. Went for the steam bath after, and headed to 10 Boulevard's Chef Low for organic food. Good day!

Had Visual Communication class yesterday where there was a 4-hour break in between lecture and tutorial. Mr P (glamourous nickname made by classmate ST) moved tutorial forward - briefing us on how to use Illustrator. Looks fun. But now, I have to trace a crazy ass complicated design with ____ layers so we don't have to start over if we make a mistake. Searched the library for books for our assignment - while deciding what topic to research on and went for Subway later on. My favourite people were there - as well as "intruders" from KDU and TARC. Stayed until 3 - got home and slept the evening away.

I made a change last Friday. I decided that Journalism was too tough and switched to Advertising instead. The only thing about my choice compared to the one I made a few years back, is that I'm genuinely happy with my decision.

2011 will be a better year and SYP's coming next week, hopefully.

Every single time I click on that option which leads me to a list of pictures and words which are either humorous, informative or just a normal e-mail from an old friend, I will have read it and then have the window closed or minimized. For these few weeks, it's been a normal e-mail.

"I'll write a reply later. Or today. That'll be my 'goal' for today."

It's not that it's not an interesting e-mail. It is. Sharing stories which were lost in time, before. Most importantly, making time to invest in another person's life. To understand things from their perspectives. To share times of joy and sorrow. Now, it's been a long time I've ever written e-mails with replies which comes in like, 2-3 days or so. I've forgotten how it felt like, to have someone reading what I have to say - about my day, or some experiences and stories I would like to share.

Now I feel as if a terrible friend for dilly-dallying my replies.

On a side note, have I mentioned that it'll be one heck of a writing semester? With what, Academic Writing, PR and Journalism (luckily that's not the case for Visual Communication where we will be using computers). Yeahp, 3 out of 4 subjects. One HECK of a semester. Totes-ly fun. Well, Broadcasting and Advertising are way out of my league anyway. So I settled for PR and Journalism instead. All I can do now is hope. Hope I can get through this with ample amount of space for me to take a breather.

But as Chris Carrabba sings it, "Hope, dangles on a string like slow spinning redemption.."

You know how much at peace you feel on a cold Thursday afternoon with nothing bothering you, listening to the whirring of the fan and your neighbour's music from the back house? Well, considering the fact that Semester 3 starts on Monday, these few days are what's left of my break. It scares me that Diploma is ending in next year's May.

We fall in and out of our daily lives, barely even remembering half of what we have done in the past year. Some just throw themselves away without concerning consequences which may follow. 2010 was a year I've met so many different people, which opened me up to realize that all of us are the same. We're never really individualistic. Why do I say this?

People stereotype, judge, make first impressions by trying to read you and then formulate a 'theory'. People want to get something from you, consuming as much information or things they can from you. You're not the only one who's after this dream or having that idea about things. You say you're different, but no one really cares. No one's really special either.

You're you. People are people. We have lives to live. And so do you. Doing things to the level of extravagancy so as to get attention; just makes you one topic in the history of the people you meet in life. Maybe you're the first person to do that something, but many others would follow up. We're never content.

By the end of the day, does it make you happy when you're all alone again? Just for a moment, where you reflect back on the memories made, things you've achieved and people who shared those moments with you. And then it's all gone.

The places you've been, the people you've met, the things you've done, the words you've said.. Somehow, you'll forget about it all for a moment in time. You never want to, but they just disappear. When these moments are resurrected, you miss them.

...and you just can't contain these embedded feelings from streaming in the threads of your mind. When you've realized all of these, it's never coming back. Just like pretty flowers in the sun. Over time, they die off with the wind slowly blowing its petals away. Never coming back.

I still remember the last day of finals/Semester 2. A Friday. I was in the library studying at one corner, same goes for the classmates. Scattered around the library. I looked out the window, at an open space where I usually park my car. I wondered, what if the pylon were to tumble?

Some came up to me when I was about to sleep in the chair. Some came "hunting" for me all over the library because my phone was low on battery. It was the last paper to sit for, and the ending to Year 1 of Diploma. Got out of the examination venue.. Waited for friends to be done. Hugged a few classmates. Had small talks. And that was it.

That told me to cherish them even more.

Went to Wong Poh Restaurant a week ago - just a small gathering.. Played Uno Stacko and Heart Attack later on. Fun.

I'm refraining myself from using the laptop for the rest of the week.. Just gonna enjoy my week. Not gonna check my results even if it comes out on Thursday either.

I wasn't exactly dreaming but maybe because I was tired.. I dreamt that David Cook shot one of his videos in OU. Then, I saw someone's pet in the next restaurant. Turns out to be my ex-neighbour's. I dreamt that I was texting you and you said that it was only 10pm, I could still sleep. Hahaha.

I was back in high school and the three of you; C, W, J were in class, waiting for Moral to start. I went back to my own class, got my books, took the ring that * gave which had M's name on it. I wore it, sat next to J. Funny.

After last Tuesday's dinner, I dreamt we were back in high school again. It was report card day? The teacher asked everyone to leave the class and had the doors closed. E was in the class with the teacher. Seemed pretty bad. Outside, S, C, J and I were talking and laughing - really having a good time. P was there as well, but P was an outcast.

Short J and tall J. Mid Valley. In a restaurant. I witnessed something. Ew.

My black and striking pink Lunarlon shoes - discoloured.. And the shoelaces were purple. WHAT?!

4 piercings on my right ear. Yeah, what the heck. I only have 2 piercings on each of my ear.

Slept for 5 minutes but it felt like 44 minutes. Pfft.

I dreamt that I was supposed to go to BU3 school? Or either a school in Sungai Buloh. For "college". Mr Lecturer offered to fetch me from BU3 every time. So okay. ... AFTER THAT. B invited me to some prom. S invited me to some dance (we were partners or something) and we'd be leaving at 2.15pm; the event starts at 2.45pm. B's prom thing was around the same time, and I think it was for our SMDU's prom. WTH? Anyway, it was both in Sungai Wang. So I asked S (who was in my OLD HOUSE's toilet?!) whether the PROM's venue and "Romanza" (supposedly where S and I were heading) was far from one another or not. S said, "Not that far. You wanna make double trips eh? Hahahah. Ask your friend to find their own date." I laughed, and said.. "S.....!"

I think the only way to truly forget someone, is if you encounter a bad case of amnesia.
